Three Simple Ways to Create Thanksgiving Every Single Day

This month as we come close to celebrating the season of gratitude, the beautiful feeling of sharing, appreciation and togetherness fully comes into play. But what if we took Thanksgiving seriously? What if we really gave thanks? What if we treated every day as a day to give thanks? This day and month will be gone too soon, but there is no reason why we cannot continue to give thanks throughout the year.

Here are three simple ways to make everyday Thanksgiving:

  • Bring people together

At the end of the day, we all are interconnected with one another, even if we don’t know each other and have nothing in common. Regardless of your relationship, look for ways to contribute in any situation and bring people together. Ask yourself: How can I help? How can I contribute here?Three Simple Ways to Create Thanksgiving Every Single Day

  • Small acts of kindness:

Random acts of kindness are magical, and giving one yourself is one of the best joys of life. For example, let your neighbour park in your garage or have a friendly conversation with the cashier at the mall. Connect with people without wanting anything from them. Share at least one ThankU card each day ( or tweet them a @ThankUCard ) with no intention of getting something in return.

  • Celebrate togetherness:

Look for ways of bringing people together all year around, not just during holidays. By creating a sense of togetherness, you will help to generate and instil in others a sense of community and well-being. When you give the gift of a smile or a kind word, you create a wonderful ripple effect of joy that touches many, and helps build bridges between everyone.

We can all indeed have that magical, Thanksgiving joy all year around.
